And Baby Makes Three

I am a 21-year old who is happily married to my wonderful farmer. Yeah, ask anyone back home if they everthought I would marry a farmer!!! We are now expecting our first child and are jumping at every milestone of this pregnancy (so are our families--first grandchild).

I was actually going to post pictures today. However, I discovered it is a lot easier to get the pictures off your camera when you know where the connecting cord is. Since I can find every other camera parafenalia but that cord, I will not be including pictures today.

I have reached the bored part of my pregnancy. I am now 31 weeks and 2 days. Being a substitute teacher, there is no work during the summer, so get to be home watching Judging Amy and Law and Order, counting down the days until I need to clean my house again.

I recently saw pictures of the miracle Paulsen baby-- born at 29 weeks. It is so weird to see a picture of a baby that is about the same size as my little one. It puts everything it perspective so much easier.

My belly continues to grow (or so I feel like it). As a matter of fact, at my 30 week appointment Monday, I almost measured 32 weeks. Talk about false hope!! As the days of delivery get nearer, bringing home this baby is all I think about. As I pack for going to Chicago this afternoon, I think "this is the last time it will be this easy to pack to leave". As I waited for my ride to pick me up on Saturday for a wedding, I sat on my couch thinking, "one day I will be sitting here on my daughter's wedding day." Talk about hormones!!!! Then I think how extremely blessed I am to have this miracle child inside my womb. The child I was told was an ectopic pregnancy. The child the doctor's almost cut into me to remove. Then I remember it was the grace of God that kept me from the operating room that day. That makes me long for her birth even more, so I can share with her just how special she is and how great our God is.

Bummer. We want pics. Hey, bring all your nesting energy over here to my house. There is no "counting down the days until I can clean". Those words aren't even in my vocabulary. It's more like "counting the days since I SHOULD have cleaned".

You are so close, it's so exciting!
